I obtained my first Labrador in 2002, with the intention of training her up to accompany me on the foreshore. However her training went well she turned out to be a wonderful companion in the shooting field.

Since then I have trained and competed in field trials with Labradors, Springers and Cockers. I have won novice cocker and springer trials, obtained minor awards with Labradors and also won the West Dartmoor Open springer stake in October 2007. This qualified me to run my bitch Cherygal Spirit of Fowlersmoon in the 2008 Springer Spaniel championship which was held at Conhalt Park near Andover.

I work full time and my dogs are my hobby, this is not a venture run for commercial gain however I do have some dogs available at stud, I may have the occasional part trained/trained dog for sale and very occasionally may breed a litter of pups.

My affix was inspired by the title of one of the best wildfowling books ever written, this book, entitled Fowlers’ Moon, was written in 1955 by Nigel Thornycroft.
